insomnia induced chaos

It is now 3:17 ladies and gentlemen and I am still awake. Three days (well I guess technically if you aren’t a crazed insomniac like moi, they are nights) in a row I have seen at least this time of night. I think I’m going insane. No. Joke. I am not diagnosed with OCD but I promise you (I keep wanting to call you tweeps) I have it & my ticks (is that the right term? I am too tired to go check Web MD and even if I did it would just tell me I am dying of some disease you can only contract in Antarctica and I will proceed to freak out and schedule doctors appointments consulting them about the tumor Web MD told me I have that is really just a cold..I digress.) are completely boiling over, a la Miles from Bravo’s Work of Art (great show+gorgeous boy=watch it.).

INTERJECTION: background info- I am an actress and was playing Eulalie in The Music Man at my high school until I got into a summer program at Pace University that conflicts with the show dates forcing me to become a part of the production staff.

Anywho, as I was saying, my OCD ticks (?) are overflowing: I spent an hour of my life making sure all the paper clips on several hundred packs of raffle tickets were going the same way and then proceeded to lay them perfectly in the box; I alphabetized every ticket order form and every envelope of tickets and checked them 7 times to make sure they were right; *drumroll* the worst insomnia inspired OCD meltdown: I was filling ticket orders for the show and the colors of the tickets for each night were various colors of the rainbow but when lined up in order of the shows they corresponded to they were not in the wonderful, logical ROYGBIV order and..and..well, I cried.

I am no longer a functioning insomniac. Comment if you have any methods of getting to sleep & staying asleep or any funny insomnia/OCD stories.

OHH! I've decided I need a thing like Caroline of girlgoeseast.com (read it)'s Awkward Wednesdays & Throwback Fridays so to fulfill the name of this blog we are doing my favorite tweet of the howeverlongitsbeensinceilastposted..deal?

The first is: @blakebashoff: "everything in nature is lyrical in its ideal essence, tragic in its fate, and comic in its existence."

I will try to do lighter ones in the future but I liked that one too much =)

Now for real at 4:07am..

Peace, Love, Happiness (& Sleep)
